Most people walk right past the botanicals I share here without a second glance — but each one carries its own story, its own quiet history, and often a long tradition of use. I share them here as a fellow plant enthusiast and lover of the natural world, not as a medical professional. Always do your own research before foraging or using any plant.

One of my favorite plants, and one of the easiest to identify. Their climbing, sticky segmented stems make them unmistakable — and traditional herbalists have treasured them for centuries. Touted to cleanse the blood and lymph, it is one of my most often used plants.
